Jada Giordano – Multi-Sport Athlete

Jada Giordano, Class of 2026, attends Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, is a standout multi-sport athlete excelling in both track and field and girls’ soccer. 

On the track, Jada specializes in the high jump, where she has consistently cleared impressive marks, including a personal best of 5 feet 2 inches during the 2024 outdoor season at the NJSIAA North 1 Group 3 Sectional Championships. She has also competed in the long jump and triple jump, showcasing her versatility and athleticism. Jada has earned podium finishes at major meets such as 2024 Sectional Championships, the Jack Yockers Bergen County Relays and Coach Glynn Holiday Carnival, and her performances have contributed significantly to Ramapo’s strong track and field team rankings across New Jersey.

In soccer, Jada is a key defensive player for Ramapo’s varsity team, anchoring the back line as a right back during the 2024-2025 season. Known for her smart positioning and ability to shut down opposing attackers, she played an essential role in helping the Raiders reach the postseason. Jada was part of a defensive unit that secured multiple shutouts. She also contributed offensively, tallying a bunch of assists in key games throughout the season. Her impact was felt in the Bergen County Tournament final, where Ramapo earned co-champion honors after a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Ramsey. Between both genders, there will be seven Top-20 squads competing over the two days at NVOT. The girls teams are No. 12 Immaculate Heart, No. 13 Old Tappan and No. 17 Demarest. We’ll see the likes of No. 6 Demarest, No. 15 Bergen Catholic, No. 17 Ridgewood and No. 18 Old Tappan for the boys. Meet and school records are always in jeopardy across the board at this meet, but everyone will have their tape measurers out for the discus. Bergen Catholic junior Benji Shue seems to be knocking on the door of a colossal throw to supplant the PR 204-10 he threw at a tri-meet last month while Old Tappan senior Layla Giordano continues to hunt the girls state record.
