Biography:
Bridget Chapman, hailing from Naperville, Illinois, is a standout softball player. A 2024 graduate of Benet Academy, she had an illustrious high school softball career marked by numerous accolades and significant contributions to her team's success.
Chapman was a four-year starter at Benet Academy and served as team captain during her senior year. She earned ESCC All-Conference honors in both 2023 and 2024, was a First-Team All-Area selection those same years, and received Third-Team All-State recognition in 2024. Additionally, she was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2024 and Offensive Player of the Year in 2023.
In her senior season, Chapman boasted a batting line of .432/.500/.747, accumulating 35 RBIs, 33 runs, four home runs, three triples, 14 doubles, and 13 stolen bases. Her junior year was equally impressive, with a .444/.520/.778 slash line, 53 RBIs, 27 runs, seven home runs, 13 doubles, and 17 walks.
Chapman played a pivotal role in leading Benet Academy to regional championships each year from 2021 to 2024. The team secured sectional and super-sectional titles in 2023, culminating in a third-place finish at the state level that year.
