Biography:

Kathryn Price is a versatile multi-sport athlete at Union Catholic High School in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.  Contributing significantly to both the girls' basketball and softball teams. Standing at 5-foot-10,  she helped the Union Catholic Vikings on the court and in the field by showcasing her versatility as an athlete

In Basketball, she played a crucial role in rebounding and defense. Establishing herself as a strong presence on the court, especially around the basket. Kathryn and the Vikings started her senior season off looking like the off season training was going to pay off. But injury sidelined Kathryn half way through the season. She watched from the bench as the Lady Vikings finished their season with a record of 17-9, while capturing the Mountain conference title.  

In Softball, as a junior Kathryn's consistent offensive contributions, highlighted by her .315 batting average and timely hitting, played a pivotal role in Union Catholic's performance during the 2023-2024 softball season. Her ability to deliver in crucial moments underscores her value to the team. Looking for great things from Kathryn in the 2025 spring season.

Gabrielle Ziegenbalg netted a game-high 20 points as Union Catholic defeated St. Dominic 54-33 in Jersey City.Union Catholic (9-15) took a 27-15 lead into halftime before pulling away in the second half and outscoring St. Dominic 27-18. Kathryn Price ripped down 7 rebounds while blocking a few shots and a steal. Emily Mattson added 13 points for UC.  

Union Catholic girls cruises passed Governor Livingston

Gabrielle Ziegenbalg recorded 18 points and five rebounds to lead the Union Catholic girls basketball past Gov. Livingston, 41-32, on Thursday afternoon in Berkeley Heights. Union Catholic, who has now won five of its last six games, improved to 5-2 on the season. The Vikings took a 24-16 lead at halftime and maintained control of the game throughout the second half.Hailey Mullaney added 11 points and five rebounds. Kathryn Price contributed with fierce defense around the glass while chipping in a bucket and pulling down 3 rebounds for Union Catholic.
